Prefabrication

Grooving is a cost-effective and time-saving solution where welding applications were previously used. In most parts of the world, it is estimated that 80 percent of all pipe joints use the grooving technique. Development is also moving towards grooving becoming more common in the Nordics as well, which is completely logical as it is a cost-effective and time-saving method for a variety of applications.

Amon works closely with the leading players in the industry and offers everything from single grooved pipes in various dimensions and materials, to tailor-made prefabricated complete solutions, ready for assembly and installation. Based on the customer's construction drawings, we can offer optimal system solutions where assembly can be carried out with great safety and an impressive economic time gain.

We offer both grooving and cutting of pipes in stainless and galvanized material and can process most dimensions and material thicknesses as well as grooving or cutting pipes up to DN 300 (329.9 mm)

Cutting

Our state-of-the-art machinery includes an Orbitalum RA-12, which can cut pipes up to DN 300 and guarantee perfectly perpendicular and milled flat ends, which makes the pipes optimal for, for example, orbital welding.

Grooving

We can groove traditional OG groove (RX) but also Victaulic's patented StrengThin™ groove (ST-100) up to DN 300 (323.9mm). We can also groove all types of stainless steel.

We offer, using our expertise in documentation and traceability solutions where all pipes and fittings are logically packaged and labeled.
